Edna Adan University Strengthens International Partnerships!

We are thrilled to announce that Edna Adan University (EAU) has expanded its global footprint through an official invitation to participate in the KEnEU International Week 2025 in Kostanay, Kazakhstan.

Held from November 24–28, this prestigious gathering serves as a bridge between Central Asia and the rest of the world, fostering a unique environment for academic and industrial synergy.

A Global Exchange of Knowledge

EAU joined a diverse cohort of universities and industry leaders from across the globe, including representatives from:

  • Europe: Serbia, Greece, Croatia, and Spain.
  • Central Asia: Kazakhstan.

The forum focused on exchanging innovative teaching methodologies, exploring joint research opportunities, and enhancing global academic engagement. By participating in these high-level dialogues, EAU continues to ensure that our students and faculty are connected to the latest international standards and trends.

Why This Matters for EAU

This invitation is a testament to our university’s growing reputation on the world stage. It reflects our:

  • Commitment to Excellence: Being recognized by international peers for our academic rigor.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Our drive to build partnerships that transcend borders and benefit the Somaliland health and education sectors.
  • Global Visibility: Positioning EAU as a key African institution within the global higher education landscape.

Looking Ahead

As we return from Kazakhstan, we look forward to implementing the collaborative insights gained during International Week. These partnerships are essential to our mission of providing world-class education and producing graduates who are ready to compete and lead globally.

“International collaboration is the cornerstone of modern education. By engaging with partners from Spain to Kazakhstan, we bring the world to our students in Hargeisa.”
